Apostle Vickie Johnson was born in East Liverpool, Ohio where she received her elementary and secondary education. She moved to the Washington, DC area as a young adult. She is a graduate of Potomac College in Washington, DC where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.

Apostle Johnson spiritual journey began at a very young age when, during a revival, a prophetic anointing was imparted into her life. Her first call was to intercessory prayer. Her intricate relationship with the Lord can be heard through every prayer she utters. God has also given her an ear to hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say to the Church. Her life is forever changing as the Lord continues to reveal Himself through her.

Apostle Johnson has worshiped and served the Lord through various ministries throughout the Washington DC area, first as a minister, then as an evangelist. She has served on various boards and committees in those ministries. She has planned, promoted and facilitated workshops on “Praise and Worship” and “Prayer-The Power Behind the Name”. She and her husband wrote, directed and produced an original musical production entitled the “Resurrection”.

She was ordained and licensed in July 2005 as an Evangelist under the leadership of Pastor Peggy A Gibson, founder and Pastor of the Church of Love, Hope & Faith. Apostle Johnson received her Certificate of Authorization from the District of Columbia in February 2007. Apostle Johnson was ordained and licensed as Pastor of Called With A Purpose Ministries, on June 6, 2009 in Atlanta, GA under the leadership of Dr. William Holt, founder of Jesus Is The Way To Restoration, Inc., located in Snellville, GA.  She accepted her call as an Apostle in the Kingdom in June of 2012, and was affirmed as an Apostle on Saturday, July 13, 2013. 

Apostle Johnson received her Honorary Doctorate Degree from CICA on July 25, 2015. She also received her Chaplaincy's Diploma and License as well as her Ambassadorial Appointment on the same day. 

Apostle Johnson is ever grateful to God for her salvation, her sanctification and her baptism in the Holy Ghost. Her motto is “IT’S ALL GOOD”; paraphrased from Romans 8:28, which reads, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His Purpose”.

Apostle Johnson is the co-founder of It’s All Good Community Outreach.

Apostle Vickie Johnson was married to the late Elder Samuel A. Johnson, Jr. and is the mother of one natural son and several spiritual sons and daughters.

Pastor Martin A. Johnson

Pastor Martin A. Johnson was born in Washington, DC where he attended parochial school from kindergarten through grade 12. He is a graduate of Federal City College where he received a B.A. in
Sociology with a Minor in Social Welfare Rehabilitation. He continued his education and received a MA in Adult Education from the
University of the District of Columbia. Pastor Johnson made a commitment to serve the Lord in 1978 and joined Rhema Christian Center in the District of Columbia. He served in various
parts of the ministry, first as an usher, then became a deacon. He was appointed an Elder by the late Bishop Clarence C. Givens and graduated from Givens Bible College.

In 2009, Pastor Johnson was ordained as Minister by the late Arvel Givens. In 2014, Pastor Johnson joined Christ Community Church of Bowie where Dr. Charles R. Fox was the Senior Pastor. During his tenure at CCC, Pastor Johnson taught Sunday School and delivered the Word once a month as
directed by the Pastor.  God shifted the ministry at CCC, and Dr. Fox was directed by the Holy Spirit to begin a different ministry.

In September 2021, Torch of the Spirit Ministries was birthed, and Pastor Carla Hairston is the Senior Pastor.  Called With A Purpose Ministeries International is the covering for Torch of the Spirit Ministries where Pastor Johnson serves as Pastor in both ministries.  He is married to Prophet Denise Johnson and they have two children.
